We're The Dukes, an acoustic pop band from Worksop. Consisting of Abbie Howard - 15 (keys and vocals),Jade Gordon - 15 (vocals) and Owen Shutt - 15 (guitar and vocals). We've been together from the beginning of the year and have played the likes of Sheffield City Hall and Mansfield Palace Theatre. We are currently in the process of making our EP and hoping to release an album in the future. We've been really close friends for years now and have always loved music.

Abbie - "I've been playing piano for 3 years and I am self taught. I actually got my first piano out of a skip! For a while singing wasn't my thing but I got into it last year and haven't really stopped. I've been friends with Jade for 5 years now and we performed together for a bit before we met Owen 3 years ago. I love every minute of being in The Dukes and can't wait to see where it goes."

Jade - "I've been singing ever since I can remember. In fact I remember the first time I ever sung in front of an audience... In a karaoke bar in Skegness, I sang Avril Laveign's 'Complicated' when I was 5 and loved it! I've also tried a variety of instruments such as playing the flute when I was 7 and I'm currently learning bass guitar. Since this band formed I've loved the whole experience and hope that there are many more years to come."

Owen - "I've always been into the performing arts. I actually got the lead role in my primary schools production of Joseph when I was 10 and the lead role of my secondary school's production of Our House earlier this year. I started teaching myself guitar about a year and a half ago and take it everywhere I go. This band means so much to me and i think I speak for all of us when I say that."
